A 22-year-old explained his whole ads system.

Hector (@hectorserrranoo) is head of content and marketing hire #2 at Wispr Flow. They launch 500–700 UGC ads a month. He posted one 14-minute video walking through exactly how he runs it, and people replied “I’d hire you right now.”

Why I made a reel on it: if you’re looking for a job, this is the move. Don’t send a CV. Show the company exactly how you’d do the job, in public. Page 5 shows you how.

Pay only for ads that work.

Use a performance model

A creator joins your group, makes a video, you launch it as an ad, and they get paid a share of the results. No paying $1,000s up front for a video that might flop. No haggling over usage rights. He calls it “TikTok Shop, but for every platform”, and it works for SaaS too, not just e-com. Ads run on Meta, AppLovin and TikTok.

Pick how creators get paid

E-com: a % of sales. SaaS: a % of ad spend (longer sales cycle). Wispr Flow pays 7% of ad spend, plus a smart retainer: a minimum monthly pay if the creator hits a video quota.

The retainer is how a new brand with zero history gets top creators to say yes: “I’ll bet this money on you.” Those early creators then refer others and become your proof.

Pay first

$1,000s per creator video up front, plus whitelisting and usage-rights deals. Most videos never spend.

Pay on results

Creators earn when their ad spends or sells. Lots of videos compete, so quality goes up on its own.

5 good creators beat 500 random ones.

Start with 4–5 creators

Pick each one to fill a gap: a new format, a new audience, a new country. Hundreds of hired guns = 1,000s of look-alike talking heads.

Why it matters: Meta groups videos that are about 60%+ similar and cuts their reach. Volume with no variety works against you.

Where to find them: Instagram keyword search

Search UGC, creators, tech, SaaS. Find a few who match your quality, then go through their followers, following and comments for more like them. Send 100–200 DMs over a few days. You’ll have your group by the end of the week.

Treat creators like a sales team

What you put into them is what you get out. Skip this and your best creators leave for brands that treat them better.

Grow slow. Keep it new.

Scale in steps

5 → 10 → 20 → 40 → 40–60

The best creator teams are 40–60 people. Wispr Flow got ~7,000 applications on Trybe and accepted only 5–7. Their best source: a $100 referral for every creator who brings in someone at their level or better.

Push new formats, not copies

Burnt-out creators copy the top video on the leaderboard. Meta clusters the copies and none of them break out. The top creators are on top because they made new formats.

↑ Step 5: 5 creators at the start → 50 now.

↑ Step 6: copies of one winner get grouped together.
