Which one gets you the next deal?

After a brand collab I had all my numbers in a sheet: views, reach, likes, saves, for 8 posts on 4 platforms. I could send the brand that sheet. Or I could send them a deck they can skim in 30 seconds.

This Rows and rows. The brand has to do the maths.

Or this The result first: 1.16M views, 20,720 link clicks.

I didn’t build it by hand. Working out the engagement rate, making the charts and writing the story would have taken me hours. I gave the sheet to MagicSlides and asked for a results deck.

Hours

Calculate rates, build each chart, write every title, line up the slides.

30 seconds

Upload the sheet, ask for the deck, edit what you want, send.

Sheet to deck.

Export your sheet

Google Sheets: File → Download → .xlsx or .csv. Excel: just use the file. Keep one row per item (post, product, month) and clear column names.

Open Excel to PPT

Go to magicslides.app/tools/excel-to-ppt and upload the file. It reads XLS, XLSX and CSV, plus PDF, Docs and more.

Ask for the deck you need

Don’t just say “make slides”. Say who it’s for and what they should take away. My prompt:

Make a results deck for [brand name] from this sheet.
Start with the big numbers: total views, reach, link clicks
and engagement rate (likes + comments + shares + saves / reach).
Then one slide per platform, what worked post by post,
and a closing slide on why they should book me again.
Keep it short: a brand should get it in 30 seconds.

Check the numbers, then send

Click any slide to edit it. Check every number against your sheet, add your logo, then download PPTX or PDF or share the link.

Always check the maths. AI is good at charts, but you’re the one sending it to the brand. Spot-check the totals and the rate.

↑ That’s the whole workflow: upload the sheet, ask for a results deck.

Numbers turned into a story.

It worked out my 8.6% engagement rate on its own.

1.16M views, split across Instagram, YouTube, Facebook and X.

What worked, post by post, ranked.

Why this wins deals

A brand manager has 30 seconds. The sheet makes them do the work. The deck tells them the answer: what they got, what worked best, and why to book you again.

  • The big number on slide 1
  • Engagement rate, worked out
  • One slide per platform
  • Best post first
  • Who saw it (audience)
  • One clear “book me again” ask

Any file in. A deck out.

Excel, PDF, Docs, CSV, notes. Any of them becomes a presentation.

The trick is the same every time: say who will read it, what they should decide, and how long they have. The tool does the charts.
