PocketLLM Privacy Policy

The short version: PocketLLM runs AI models entirely on your device. Your conversations and the documents you analyze never leave your phone, and we have no servers that could receive them. We don’t have accounts, we don’t track you, and we don’t run analytics.

What stays on your device

  • Every message you send and every reply the AI generates.
  • Any document (PDF, text) you attach — it is read on-device and is never uploaded anywhere.
  • Your chat history, settings, and downloaded models, all stored locally on your phone.

We cannot see any of this. There is no PocketLLM server that your content is sent to.

What does use the internet (and only then)

PocketLLM works fully offline for chatting and document analysis. The internet is used only for two optional actions you trigger yourself:

  • Downloading an AI model. When you choose to download a model, the file is fetched from our model provider’s servers (Cactus Compute). This is a normal file download and does not include any of your content.
  • Publishing a page (optional). If you tap “Publish to web,” the HTML you created is sent to the here.now hosting service to create your public link. Only that page is sent, and only when you ask.

You can verify this: turn on Airplane Mode and keep using the app — chat and document analysis keep working with no connection at all.

No analytics, no telemetry

We do not collect usage analytics, crash analytics, advertising identifiers, or any tracking data. We have also disabled the optional telemetry built into our underlying inference engine, so no usage statistics or device identifiers are sent on our behalf.

Purchases

If you unlock PocketLLM with a one-time purchase, that transaction is handled by Apple and by RevenueCat, our purchase-management provider. They process the purchase receipt and an anonymous identifier solely to confirm and restore your unlock. This is unrelated to your chats or documents, which they never receive.

Children

PocketLLM does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
