Feeling like AI will eat everything? This adoption graph says the space is wide open

0:52

I was feeling low — why build anything when AI does everything tomorrow? Then this chart: each dot is 3.2M people, and the slice who pay for AI or use it for coding is tiny. We're early. The space is wide open.

I was feeling quite down today. I was thinking, dude, like, what's even the goal of building all these things when every day it feels like, you know, tomorrow AI is going to build, get done, everything like this cloud code thing is going to build, software, do things. And then I realized this particular graph. You can see each dot is basically around 3.2 million people. And that green section is about free chatbot users. The yellow one is the people who pay $20 for AI. And the red is basically the people who use it for coding. So this is the reality, actually, while it might seem in our bubble that, you know, everyone knows about it. It's not actually that much wide. And if you are someone who is interested to build something with AI, there's a very big space left to go build that thing, which you've always wanted to. It's much simpler now, either.
