We're drawn to AI and internet businesses, but the petrol pump behind me profits more than 80–90% of AI startups. Boring businesses work — a note to self as much as to you.

When starting a business, we are very attracted towards Chinese businesses like AI, ML, or some sort of an Internet thing. But what actually works out in a very long period of time is boring, the things are as simple as, you know, patrol bombs with a bus. These people behind us are actually making the right amount of profit, whereas the 80-90% of the companies on the Internet or the AI companies are struggling. They get profit.
