Greg, vibe coding is not eating SaaS

1:23

We tried building our own analytics instead of subscribing. With 20+ products, keeping internal tools working isn't easy. AI multiplies products, it doesn't replace enterprise solutions.

Okay, so wipe coding is not eating SaaS. As you are saying, Greg, I would like to clarify something which we have experienced as well. We have tried to build internal tools. For example, we wanted to have our own analytics tools, rather than subscribing to a product we call Logsnag or some other product. We wanted to have our own analytics platform, but overall what we realized, it's not that easy. Like, I personally have built more than 20 something products, and it's not been easy to manage all of them, to make sure that they are working all the time, also the progress of like improving things. So one thing which I would like to mention here is people will create things. This whole thing of using AI to generate products is going to really amplify the amount of products and the speed of progress happening. But it is not going to replace the enterprise solutions. For example, we are not going to change to our own. So for example, I was thinking to build our own cursor. Why are we paying so much to them? I was thinking to build 100 tools internally. going to do that for enterprise use cases people who cannot afford are going to try but that is not the best use of time there are so many internal tools you cannot ever dedicate that much efforts and time to it so my take is wipe coding is not going to eat sas rather it's going to push more people to innovate to create new things which were not that possible without funding or things of that nature
