Subscriptions are the hardest business model. Start with one-time products

1:00

Two years ago I converted everything to subscriptions for predictable revenue. But I didn't start there — and if you're new, you shouldn't either. Lifetime deals still pay me.

Two years ago, when I thought I was going to make money, where we need to give people a salary or attention, I took a very important step which was about converting all my applications to a subscription product. What does subscription mean? That now our products are not able to do single purchase. You have to take a subscription for it. Now what happened? It became a predictable revenue source where we don't start from zero every month. But when I started my journey, I didn't start with this because selling the subscription hardest business model compared to going with the one-time purchase. So, I'm making this video so that if you are a person who has started a new business, who wants to focus on revenue, don't think about your subscription. Feel free to sell one-time products. Literally, I still do. I had my products listed on AppSumo and stuff, and they're still generating revenue after two years, even though I'm not marketing them at all. So, things can work out. Keep pushing.
