Log in free →One-time purchase? Build the next product for the same customer
1:19BlurWeb is a one-time purchase — customers stay but never pay again. My fix: build the next product for the same people. BlurScreen, then QuickPresent — same niche, same buyers, higher lifetime value.

If you sell something which is just a one-time purchase, so for example, I used to sell Blurwebapp. It's a product which helps you hide information on your website with one single click. And it's a one-time purchase. So the way I increased my average customer value because every customer who buys stays with us. This is a one-time purchase. We are not getting more value from them. On the other hand, the work is being done on a month. So my solution to that was to come up with the other products which are good for the same client. So I talked to them, I realized they need more things, so for example, they needed to hide the Blurwebapp part. So I created a desktop application. I hired someone, a freelancer on a book. I got that done and it's called BlurScreenApp. Now we have one more product which I can sell to the same people who are buying the existing product. So again, average customer value, a little bit higher. Then I figured out one other product which is again in the same niche of the screen share kind of thing. So that product basically checks off a few lists. I can kind of show it to you. It's this called Quick Present. It can kind of hide desktop icons, hide a j-mail. All that in a single list, again, I created to increase that average customer value. So my suggestion to anyone who is trying to grow their businesses, always try to focus on how you will increase your average customer value and retention. So now we actually focus majorly on subscription product, but this was for someone who is trying a one-time product purchase.
