If you are a student in your 20s and wanting to start something and you have no idea what to do, here's my experience of growing a company from zero to close to a valuation of $1 million in less than three years. So hi, my name is Sinskar. I'm the founder of IAG Tech. I started my journey by publishing a lot of content around how to create stuff, but it actually started a lot early in my life. So my father is a government employee and from a very early age, I got to learn that if I want to figure life out, the nature of my problems which I was facing, the solution is money. And the way we can do that is by business. So I knew I had to do that, but I knew I am never going to take money from my father. So I was able to find a video where a guy was sharing his journey of how he scaled, how he sold his company for a million dollars, which he created in a room alone. That gave me a really idea that, you know what, if I want to create a business, software is the way to go. Behind the scenes, it was also there that in 10th class, I was very much interested in coding. When we started doing that, I used to be so much into it that I would try different things, learning different things. What happened is afterwards, I tried a lot. For a year, I built one product. There is a lot of depth which I can go, but to give you a summary, I tried building a product. It took a lot of time and I was not able to generate revenue. Then I moved to the marketing part. It took one more year where I was not even able to figure out the marketing part as well. Rather, I spent or wasted my father's 35,000 rupees, which was $1,000 to buy a Facebook page to justify that I can buy this page. I can kind of promote some t-shirts or something and generate some revenue to show my parents that I can actually do that because for them, the business was never something they actually can envision can work for us. So what did I do? I went in doing a call center job. Then I did a signals job. And afterwards, I came back home. I started sharing my coding experience on the internet. People showed very good appreciation for it. People started liking it. People started asking for more. I shared more content about how to create clones about products. And that went on and on to the time where I was like, okay, if I want to make this a career, maybe I should try to sell a course. And then the competition was like they were selling dreams rather than teaching. And I was really not into it. So what I did was I loved building stuff. So I kept on doing that. I launched multiple products. Neither of them didn't work. Some of them did. And that's what I did full time. Just watching what people want and creating that. So my suggestion to you will be find what works. What is the need of the people? What is something people are ready to pay for? For students, I feel the biggest problem which you will do is try to solve your own problems. I have my brother who is six years younger than me. I'm trying to guide him as well. So I can see what he tries to build, the kind of products he tries to build. Those are trying to solve his own problems. But the problem with that is you're not a paying person. You are in a college. You are the person who will rather try to find something for free rather than going to pay for it. So don't build things for you. Build things for people who are ready to pay. And that's the way to go about it. I hope you find this helpful. Thanks for watching.
