Lesson 2.4 — Score and rank any list

A list is just data. A scored list is a decision. This lesson is about turning a judgement call into a number, so the client can sort by it and act. Ask for a score on a clear scale, and then always ask for a short reason. The score sorts the list. The reason is what makes it defensible when the client asks why something is a ten. You can score almost anything. Support tickets by urgency. Leads by how well they fit the client. Job applicants against a job description. Product reviews by sentiment. Same formula, different question. And here is the trick nobody tells you. Define inside the prompt what a one means and what a ten means. If you do not, everything comes back as a seven. Two extra sentences in the prompt, dramatically better results. That is module two done. Categorise, clean, extract and score. Those are four things you can invoice for today.
