Networking for introverts: cafés, keywords, and why Bangalore is easy mode

0:55

Networking for introverts, field-tested: work from cafés, listen for your keywords — someone says "SEO," that's your opening. Say hi, take the conversation, suggest coffee. And yes, Bangalore is easy mode; Mumbai is hard.

For someone who is starting making connections, how would you recommend them to build some good connections? So recently a friend of mine, he traveled from Mumbai to Bangor, worked there for a week. For that week, he was asking how to connect with people. I said go to cafes, get a coffee, start doing your work. And then in Bangor, it's very easy to hear keywords. So like someone making SEO, they're talking about something. Once you hear your keyword, that's your chance to go and pass it. You go say hi, hello, how's this, I heard this, I'm also doing that. You just take the conversation first. Then you just don't have to harass that person. You just have to keep going like, let's get a coffee, let's go out with food. It's so very easy and it's very hard. But you've been in Bangor for three months. Is this applicable outside also? In Mumbai, it is hard. Bangor is the perfect place to build anything.
