You need your own videos too, to show what you can do. And you have the same problem your clients have, which is that talking to a camera is hard and nobody owns a studio. Record your screen straight into a project. This is how you make the before and after clips that sell your service, using work you already did for somebody else. And the teleprompter scrolls your script where the camera is, so you stop looking down and losing your place. Slow it down more than you think. Everybody sets it too fast the first time. Three shots is enough forever. Ten seconds of you saying what you do. One screen recording of a real edit happening. One before and after. That is a portfolio, and it takes an afternoon.…
