Lesson 1.3 — Your account, and what a credit actually buys

Let us get you set up. And I am going to tell you something about our own pricing page that is slightly wrong, because you will notice it anyway. This is the screen you will live in. There is one box. You type a topic into it, or you paste a link, or you attach a file. There is no separate importer to hunt for, and no wizard. Everything in this course starts from this one box. Now look at the bottom left corner. It does not say presentations remaining. It says credits remaining. Our pricing page says fifty presentations a month, and the app says two hundred credits. The app is the one telling you the truth. Think in credits, not decks. On plans, my honest advice. If you make a handful of decks a month, the lower plan is genuinely fine. If you are making them every week, or you want to stop counting, go up. Do not buy the bigger plan just to feel committed. You will use the same features either way. Before the next lesson, open that box and type literally anything into it. Do not worry about whether the prompt is good. It will not be, and we fix that in module three.
